Whenever we talk about walking the Camino Francés, people tend to ask the same questions. What was the hardest part? What was the easiest? Which section was the most beautiful? They are understandable questions, particularly for those considering or planning their first pilgrimage, but they are also highly subjective. The answers depend on the season, the weather, a pilgrim’s physical condition, the weight of their backpack, the people they meet, what their own interests are, and what they hoped to find when they set out.
